What's Covered
Refund eligibility depends on whether the order is your first PetDogCentral purchase or a subsequent order. The full breakdown:
- First order — 60-day money-back guarantee. Whether it's a one-time purchase or your first subscription delivery, return any unopened, factory-sealed bottles from your order within 60 days for a prorated refund. Open one bottle, see if your dog takes to the chicken flavor, and send back any bottles you haven't opened — we'll refund you for those units. Any reason qualifies.
- Subsequent one-time orders — 30-day return window. Standard refund window applies after your first purchase. Product must be unopened and factory-sealed, full bundle returns only. See Return Policy for full conditions.
- Subscription cycles 2 and beyond — not refundable. Cancel before the next billing date to stop future charges. See “Subscription Refunds” below for the billing-error exception.
How to Request a Refund
Refund requests are handled by our customer care team within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
- Email support@petdogcentral.com with your order number and the reason for your refund.
- We'll reply within one business day with return instructions and a return mailing address.
- Ship the product back (instructions below) — we'll process your refund as soon as it arrives.
Tip: Include your order number in the subject line (e.g., “Refund Request — Order #12345”). It helps us locate your purchase faster.
Returning Your Product
Refunds require returning the product to us. Full return instructions — return window, packaging requirements, return shipping responsibility, and the return mailing address — are detailed in our dedicated Return Policy.
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund is issued per the timeline below.
Refund Timeline
Once we receive your returned item, here's what happens:
- Inspection: Returns are inspected within 1–2 business days of arrival.
- Refund issued: Once approved, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
- Posting to your statement: Most banks post refunds within 5–10 business days after we issue them. Some take longer — it depends on your card issuer.
- Confirmation email: You'll receive a confirmation when your refund is processed on our end.
If you haven't seen the refund on your statement after 14 business days from our confirmation email, contact us at support@petdogcentral.com and we'll trace it with our payment processor.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.
- Email support@petdogcentral.com with photos of the issue and your order number.
- We'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.
- You won't be asked to return the damaged item in most cases. We cover shipping if a return is required.
Subscription Refunds
Your first subscription delivery is covered under our 60-day money-back guarantee — return any unopened, factory-sealed bottles from your delivery for a prorated refund. Cycle 2 and beyond are not eligible for refund.
This reflects the discounted pricing structure of our subscription program: the recurring discount is offered in exchange for a standing order, and you control whether each cycle ships by managing your subscription before the next billing date. Cancel anytime — no commitment, no fees.
- First subscription delivery: Eligible for refund within 60 days under our money-back guarantee. Return any unopened, factory-sealed bottles from your delivery for a prorated refund. Follow the return process in our Return Policy; refunds issued to the original payment method.
- Cancel cycle 2 and beyond: Stop future shipments anytime via your account portal or by emailing support@petdogcentral.com. See our Subscription Policy for full cancellation details.
- Billing-error exception (cycle 2+): If you were billed for a subscription cycle you intended to cancel and the order has not yet shipped, contact us within 3 days of the charge — we'll cancel and refund the full amount.
- Damaged or defective deliveries: Always covered, regardless of cycle. See “Damaged or Defective Items” above.
What's Not Refundable
- Opened or partially used products — for hygiene and safety, all returns must be unopened with manufacturer seals intact. This applies to first-order MBG returns as well.
- Subscription cycles 2 and beyond (except the billing-error scenario described above).
- Subsequent one-time orders received outside the 30-day return window or with broken seals.
- Partial bundle returns on subsequent orders — bundles must be returned in full after the first-order MBG window. See Return Policy.
- Gift cards and store credit.
- Items marked “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.
- Free promotional items, free gifts included with bundle purchases, and original shipping fees on returned orders (if applicable).
- First orders received outside the 60-day money-back guarantee window, unless covered under a separate manufacturer warranty.
